Pursuing a Certificate? Apply for a Scholarship by March 29UCLAextension

Over 40 years ago, Ingrid Skulstad Williams changed her life by enrolling at UCLA Extension. The Ingrid Skulstad Williams Scholarship was established to support women returning to post-secondary education to become more self-sufficient. Ingrid grew up in Nazi-occupied Europe and immigrated to the U.S. as a young adult. After her husband passed away unexpectedly, she faced the challenge of becoming self-supporting. She returned to the classroom at UCLA Extension and went on to a successful career in the travel industry. Each year, through her generosity, UCLA Extension awards one scholarship up to $5,000 toward the cost of a certificate, based on financial need (applicants must submit financial documentation). Application deadline: March 29, 2012. To apply, click HERE.

To support the YWCA Women’s Partnership, click HERE and indicate “WP” in the note section.

Thank you!
