HomeWalk is looking for volunteers at The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles who can help homeless and low-income individuals and families obtain Section 8 housing vouchers.

Volunteers are needed on a weekly/monthly basis for this ongoing engagement:

* Work with clients to complete required paperwork
* Offer language translation services (including Spanish, Russian, Armenian, Korean, Chinese and American Sign Language)
* Assist clients with cognitive impairments

Volunteers will receive free training and a certificate of completion (awarded by United Way and HACLA). Enjoy flexible hours and gain valuable experience by assisting homeless and low-income individuals and families secure public housing.

Training Sessions Are Scheduled For:
Tuesday, April 24th and Thursday, April 26th
3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
HACLA Headquarters near Downtown Los Angeles
