Healthy Habits

June 21, 2012

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation are looking for everyday families living in urban areas who have contributed to the healthy habits in their homes, schools and communities. I know you all are familiar with the Be Well Books with stories from moms. Now we need your help in identifying stories of fathers.

We’re specifically looking for stories around physical activity. Has a dad inspired his family to get moving? Does his family do physical activities together? Has a dad lost weight by having a regular exercise routine and involved his family in the process? If you know a family who is working together to lead a healthier lifestyle, we want to hear about it.

Anyone may nominate a person they know or a person might be interested in nominating himself. There is no limit on the number of dads an individual may submit. Once stories are selected, they could be included in a book produced by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation in order to help other families establish healthy lifestyles.

If you have a father who might be a good fit, please contact Angela Austin  Angela.Austin(at)webershandwick.com
